Eastlit October 2015 literary journal is out. This issue includes poetry, fiction, non-fiction, an interview and a cover photo from a contributor. This is the 33rd Eastlit literary journal in the last 3 years, so it is quite a proud moment. That is the completion of 3 years now. We didn’t quite make 36 as the last 6 months we had to go bimonthly due to some other commitments. However, in 2016 Eastlit literary journal will be back to a monthly publication.
We are already taking submissions for 2016. So if you want to have your work considered for publication, send it in! Use the links in the picture or the first line to go to Eastlit. Then navigate to the submissions page! It is pretty easy.
Remember, Eastlit does have an editorial board and not everything is published. However, we do judge by what we think our readers would like to read and not by technical criteria. The aim is that this combined with being a monthly publication will mean that new writers and poets and non-native writers will have a better chance of being published. And also remember Eastlit publishes work focused on Asia.
We hope to be able a break to as many new and non-native writers, poets and photographers in 2016 as we did in 2015. And the good news is that the readership is increasing with every issue. So there are always more and more people wanting to read the published work.
If you would like to send something in, please do. Also please help to spread the word if you support our foals.
