Eastlit April 2014 is out a couple of day early. This is the largest issue yet and has a few firsts:
- The first Vietnamese writer.
- A first video interview of an Eastlit poet.
- Eastlit’s first online photo-poetry art exhibition.
- A first translation.
It is also the twelfth article in the series How Not to Write by Steve Rosse. And that means one year for Steve penning these advice pieces. So it is a big thank you to Steve Rosse from me.
Eastlit continues to offer creative writing, English literature and art focused on East and Southeast Asia. That means in this issue you can find all the usual poetry and fiction as well as a novel extract. Of course our own Stefanie Field has another book review.
The seventeenth issue of Eastlit also sees the debut of 9 new contributors. So thanks to those and also to our more regular ones.
And finally if you or anyone you know would like our editorial board to consider your work, you can contact us through our submissions contact.
